"Art is dead Dude," Jason M Allen told the New York Times.

Many artists are angry. But Mr Allen was unfazed: "It's over. A.I. wins. Humans lose," he told the newspaper.

Mr Allen only earned $300 (£262) from the tournament. But the news created panic.
